Today is a fabulous day – Sale-A-Bration (SAB) begins today! Those of us in the Stampin’ Up! demo world have been hanging out for this to begin! It’s arguably the best time of year to shop, party and join Stampin’ Up! I’m so excited to share this time with you!
OK so first things first, if you haven’t been through a Sale-A-Bration with me before, you need to know what this is all about! It’s an amazing time to earn free goodies and it starts today and finishes on March 22nd (note it’s an earlier finish than previous years).
- For every $120 worth of product that you order, you get to choose a free gift. No limits!
- Host a party (or party up by yourself and go on a shopping spree!) – if your party orders get to $350 plus shipping, then as the host(ess) you’ll earn a free pack of silver glimmer paper in addition to the usual $55 or more in free products of your choice as your hostess rewards! If your party orders get to $700, then you’ll get the silver glimmer paper, a Madison Avenue stamp set, pack of 12 sheets of 12×12″ Sycamore Street patterned paper, a pack of Sycamore Street ribbons and buttons, AND at least $110 worth of free product of your choice! And that’s on top of you and your guests earning a free SAB set for each $120 in product you’ve ordered. Phew!
- Join my team during Sale-A-Bration and you’ll get an extra 25% worth of product in your starter kit, at no extra charge! That’s up to $356.50 worth of products of your choice, for only $189 when you make the decision to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and share your love of stamping and papercrafts! You can join to build a business, or purchase for yourself and a few friends, it’s up to you. I’m here to guide you and teach you what I know about running a successful Stampin’ Up! business. If you have any questions, please ask. There’s no pressure or obligation – I’m not one of those pushy vacuum cleaner salespeople types 🙂
To see the details about Sale-A-Bration, you can check out the official brochure, click HERE and then click on “Host” “Shop” or “Join” whichever interests you. Click again after you’ve read the page it takes you to and it’ll open up the SAB brochure showing the products you can choose from for free! It’s a pretty brochure, but if you find it confusing, I do have a simplified version showing the product selection that you can check out in the following pics:
If you’d like a printable copy of these so you can refer to them as you put your orders together, let me know as I can send you a PDF. Or if you’re a customer of mine, you are welcome to pick up a copy of the official brochure plus a hard copy of my PDF when I see you next! (Call me if you can’t wait!).
Now, to finish off, I have a project to share with you. I have a few of the SAB products in my hands already (one of the big perks of being a Demonstrator is that we get our hands on things before everyone else!) and I couldn’t help myself and had to use several of them in my first blog project for SAB.
I made a “flap” card as a team swap card. The right hand side of the card folds back in and tucks under the focal point with the cute elephant stamp on it, this holds the card closed. I used the Patterned Occasions stamp set, the Vine Street embossing folder and some of the tangerine ribbon from the Sycamore ribbons & buttons pack. I didn’t use the buttons on my card but I threw them into the photos anyway because they are so pretty!
The stamping was done using markers directly on the stamp, that’s how I managed to have so many colours on the image. Easy to do! If you look closely you’ll see I did a couple of lots of piercing – I used the Essentials Paper Piercing pack (also available free during SAB!) on the decorative edge of the card after I die cut it using one of the Adorning Accents Edgelits and embossed it using the matching embossing folder. I also did some piercing around the stamped image, on the Window Frames Collection framelit. Lots of little details on this card – it’s hard to see but there’s also a teeny adhesive pearl in the centre of the stamped flower.
If you have any questions about my project or Sale-A-Bration, please ask. I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of this year’s selection!
