Gift With Purchase – super cute ribbon & buttons offer!

      Hi everyone,
I’m still busy with all the followup work after SENZ, but I took a little break to play with the new ribbon and buttons we have as a special offer for the month of July!  How cute are these Ice Cream Parlour ribbon and buttons?  I’m looking forward to playing with them a bit more, when I can snatch a little more time!

The great thing about these buttons and the coordinating ribbon is that you can get them totally FREE – all you have to do is to place a $120 product order (plus shipping, likely to be just 5% of your order) and you’ll receive a roll of the ribbon (approx 13.7m) and a pack of 48 flower buttons.  Awesome, huh?

Here’s the flyer so you can read all about it and see a couple of projects that Stampin’ Up! made with these little beauties:

But it wouldn’t be a fun promotion without my own original creation to share, so here’s the card I made:

      I even decorated the inside!

In addition to the ribbon and one of the buttons (with a thin piece of cardstock as the “thread”), here’s what else I used to make it:
Stamps: Bring on the Cake (Autumn-Winter mini catalogue)
Cardstock: Old Olive, Pacific Point, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo
Patterned paper: Sweet Stitches (Autumn-Winter mini)
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Daffodil Delight & Chocolate Chip markers
Other: Circles #2 Big Shot die, 2 3/8″ scallop circle punch (still available as a carryover item from the Summer mini catalogue), Mat Pack, Piercing tool, Stampin’ Dimensionals, mini glue dots.

Hope you like it, click here to let me know if you’d like to get your hands on some of these buttons & ribbon too!

Catching my breath – and we have a winner!

      Hi everyone,
I’ve been spending a bit of time this week just catching my breath and trying to tidy up a few things around here.  June has been such a hectic month for me with exhibiting at the Dunkleys Craft Show on the North Shore and then just two weeks later, the SENZ papercraft Expo here in Manukau at the Telstra Events Centre.  I love doing trade shows – they are a lot of fun and I enjoy sharing what I love about Stampin’ Up! with visitors.  At the same time though they are exhausting to prepare for and work the days, and there’s a lot of work afterwards as well!

Here’s our little stand at Dunkleys, with Vicky-Lee sitting at the demonstration table:

We had a much bigger stand at SENZ and had four of us working the stand for three days.  We had lots of retired stock available for sale as well as some projects we’d lovingly made, and there were a few bargains on offer!  Here’s a wide shot of our stand:

And a close up of the Sunday fab four (I say Sunday fab four because Rhonda worked with us on Friday)!

From left to right are Vicky-Lee, Patrice, Denise and myself.  This was taken on Sunday morning and I think we’re looking pretty happy and still energised after a frantic first two days of the show!

If you came to visit us at either show, thanks for your support of our little businesses, we loved sharing a little stamping with you and hope we’ve managed to inspire you to do a little of your own!

The lucky winner of our prize box of goodies at the SENZ show was Pattyanne from Mt Wellington.  I delivered the prize to her yesterday and she was absolutely thrilled, telling me she never wins anything so was so excited to have been the lucky winner this time!  Congratulations Pattyanne!

If you completed a door prize form at either Dunkleys or SENZ, you don’t already have a Demonstrator to work with and haven’t heard from one of us yet, don’t worry, you will soon.  In the meantime if you have burning questions you want answered, don’t hesitate to ask!  Click here to send me an email.

I’ve updated my calendar with the classes I have scheduled for the month of July, so if you are keen to do a little stamping with me (and a bit of laughing while you craft in a relaxed class here!) then please check out the list on the right hand sidebar, and contact me to book your place in the class(es) you’d like to attend.

Oh, and we didn’t sell out of all of our retired stamps… because at shows we have only new, unused products available for sale, we didn’t have our used sets at either of the shows.  I do have a LOT of retired stamps still available, both used and unused sets… If you are looking for something, please check out the massive list here!

The Dunkleys Craft Show – North Shore Events Centre June 10-12

      Hi everyone!
Sorry for the lack of blog posts of late, I’ve been busy!  I went to Convention a few weeks ago (the best one ever!) and since then have been running between workshops, my team training day, and preparing for not one, but two big craft shows this month!

First up is the Dunkleys show on the North Shore starting today!  Here’s a coupon so you can get a discount off your entry fee.  (Click on it to make it larger and print from there).

If you’re coming to the show, be sure to come and visit me on the stand.  I’ve just put the finishing touches on my class list flyer for July and you won’t want to miss out!  I have soooo many fun projects in store, can’t wait to teach them!

I’ll be sure to update my blog after the weekend with my class schedule, so stay tuned!
